El Dorado Adventist School (EAS), nestled in the foothills of the Sierras between Sacramento, California and South Lake Tahoe, is education at its best. EAS has been providing Christian education to El Dorado County for 80 years. Beginning as a small, one-room elementary school, it has expanded to include grades K-12. With many second and third generation families committed to supporting Christian education, we have been able to include a full high school program since 1997.
Why attend EAS?
EAS has high Christian standards and values with Bible being taught daily in each classroom.
The academic environment is conducive to college-prep education
The family atmosphere encourages parental involvement in the classroom and as volunteers around the campus
It has a zero tolerance for drugs and violence, resulting in a safe environment for your student
Many social activities outside of school time encourage Christian friendships
Varsity intramurals encourage student participation. As a member of CIF, sports include golf, tennis, flag ball, volleyball and basketball throughout the year
Music is a K-12 enrichment with music in every classroom.
Our Purpose
Standing together as a total community in the presence of God, we are committed to providing our children with progressive, Christian education that will allow them to serve in their local and global communities and to prepare them to be with their Master Teacher in the Heavenly School.
